For swing and line dancers

Remember every move you learn.

Swing Journal is a practice notebook for social dancers. Log the moves you learn, the line dances you know, and the songs you dance to, then come back and actually remember them.

Log every move

Sort moves into Footwork, Spins & Turns, Dips & Drops, and Lifts & Tricks. Give each one a difficulty, your own notes, and a short video, all in under a minute.

Watch it back, count it up

Each move keeps its video and a practice counter. The home screen puts the moves you have been neglecting in front of you, so practice time goes where it is needed.

The library screen with moves grouped by category

Your whole library

Moves grouped by category, line dances with an ordered list of steps, and songs found with a built-in Spotify search. Everything is stored on your phone first and syncs when you have a connection.

The partner journal showing a move shared between two dancers

Share with one partner

Send your dance partner an invite code and you get a shared journal. Share a move and they see it with the video, and either of you can save the other’s moves into your own library. No feeds, no followers, no strangers.

Private by design

A journal is personal. The app is built so that what you record stays yours.

  • Videos you record for your own moves stay on your phone and are never uploaded.
  • No ads, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.
  • A shared clip is deleted from our storage as soon as your partner has it.
  • Delete your account from inside the app and everything goes with it.
